Mongey Communications is a family-owned business, based in Kildare, which was established in 1986 by brothers David and Cyril Mongey. From its humble beginnings the business has grown and developed into a cutting-edge communications technology operation which now covers a wide range of products and services including Radio Communications, Audio Visual Equipment, Large LED Screens, CCTV Solutions & Access Control, Event Broadband & WiFi and Event Hire Solutions.

We also provide a nationwide service in event management packages complete with on-site engineering support, assuring that our clients receive the highest level of service. Our strength lies in analysing and understanding your particular needs and customising an ideal solution that best addresses them.

Sustainability

Here at Mongey Communications we are committed to adopting sustainable practices in order to reduce our carbon footprint. In 2022 we invested in a solar energy system in our head office and have recently developed a battery system to power our LED Screens to reduce our dependency on fossil fuels. Due to our commitment to minimising our carbon footprint on all of our global events, we choose DHL as our logistics partner due to their Go Green Climate Initiative.

This initiative looks to both offset and inset the carbon emissions generated from any deliveries/transfers that we complete to ensure a climate neutral service. Additionally, to ensure an entirely climate neutral service we offset all carbon emissions generated from technicians travelling to events. We have recently partnered with an Irish company called Catch My Carbon – https://www.catchmycarbon.ie/ – who plant trees in order to offset our carbon emissions generated from delivering our services.

Where possible use local public transport – Metro/TGV

Minimise the number of flights taken by teams – Direct Flights preferred

Use of rechargable batteries

Continue to use WEEE Recycling for all electrical equipment

Avoidance of single use plastic cable ties and use of biodegradable duct tape"
